Who are the people behind Buschball? Who takes care of all the little things related to it? Basically the people listed below. Due to a high degree of flexibility everybody takes care of any issue arising, although there of course are certain primary tasks.
Johannes Schmitt
Marketing & finances
Johannes Schmitt (27) has studied media management in Ilmenau, Thüringen. Accordingly, he has worked in several positions within the media industry. After initial experiences in the fields of print media and conference management he currently works as search engine optimization manager for a German television company.
Martin Sowa
Editorial department & design
Martin Sowa (26) lives in Rheinhausen, Duisburg, NRW. He studied anglistics (focus: sociolinguistics), political science (international relations/peacebuilding) and sociology (work and industry) at the University of Duisburg-Essen where he now works in the press office. He speaks German, English, French and a little Spanish. Concerning Buschball he attends to the website and designing of logos, equipment and merchandise.
Andreas Weimer
Communication & business partner acquisition
Andreas Weimer (26) has a degree in sports science from the German Sport University Cologne. During his studies he focussed on economy and management. He deepened his knowledge during a three-monthly pre-MBA class at San Diego State University. Due to his high affinity for football and the respective specialised knowledge he ended up in Capetown, South Africa, working for the FIFA World Cup 2010 before returning to work in Düsseldorf, Germany.
